In a Historic First, Virginia Is Set to Elect a Woman Governor

Whether Democratic candidate Abigail Spanberger, 46, or her Republican rival Winsome Earle-Sears, 61, wins on Nov. 4, a woman will enter the state’s Executive Mansion as Virginia’s governor for the first time in history.
