RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police troopers have seized nearly $1.5 million worth of illegal narcotics and 15 firearms in one week as part of their ongoing crime suppression initiative.
The operation — which is in partnership with local and federal agencies — led state troopers to seize 38.1 pounds of narcotics and 203 controlled substance pills, valued at $1,496,001, during the week of Wednesday, Sept. 3, to Tuesday, Sept. 9.
