Virginia State Police investigating I-81 crash between tractor trailers, passenger vehicle

STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) – Virginia State Police are investigating a crash involving two tractor trailers and a passenger vehicle on Interstate 81 Wednesday morning.
According to VSP, the crash occurred around 7:19 a.m. in the southbound lanes near the 224-mile marker.
At least one person was injured, though officials did not immediately release the extent of those injuries.
VSP did not have any additional details to release.
