Virginia nurse now accused of abusing four premature babies at Henrico hospital

HENRICOCOUNTY,Va.—AnurseaccusedofabusingvulnerableinfantsatawesternHenricoCountyhospitalnowfacesmorecriminalcharges. ErinStrotmanwasservedwithsixnewindictmentsTuesday,andnowofficiallystandsaccusedofhurtingfourdifferentbabiesfrom2022to2024. Shehasalsonowbeenchargedwithunlawfulbehaviorinacaseinvolvingafifthbaby,butthatchildwasneverinjured,accordingtoprosecutors. Strotman,aformernurseintheneonatalintensivecareunitatHenricoDoctors’Hospital,wasfirstarrestedinJanuary. Agrandjurythenindictedheronnewchargeslastmonth.
