RICHMOND–Inthepastyear,VirginiaStatePolicetroopers,pilots,andpersonnelhaverescuedpatientsfromontopofafloodedhospital,injuredhikersfromrockypathsandmountains,anddriversfromwater-filledstormretentionponds. Troopershavealsokepttoddlersfromrunningintotrafficfromtheirdaycares.  TheyhavealsostayedwithvehiclesneedingservicetomakesurepeopleremainedsafeandprovidedmedicalcaretoVirginiansinneed. However,upuntilthispoint,Virginians,andpeopletravellingthroughVirginia,didnothaveacentrallocationtheycouldgotoofferthankstoatrooper“risingabove.”Now,itisassimpleasgoingtotheVirginiaStatePolicewebsite(vsp.virginia.gov).
