Thisyear’sGeneralAssemblysessionnotablyfailedtoproducelegislationaddressingthewideninggapbetweenelectricitydemandandsupplyinVirginia.Legislatorsshiedawayfrommeasuresthatwouldaddressthegrowingdemandfromdatacenters,buttheyalsocouldn’tbringthemselvestoimprovethesupplypicturebysupportinglandownerswhowanttohostsolarfacilities.Bythetimethesessionended,amerehandfulofbillshadpassedthatcouldimproveourabilitytomeetdemand.
