RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) has introduced a digital forensics and incident response concentration in its Master of Science in forensic science program that will roll out in the fall.
According to the university, the concentration was added to help address the boosted demand for qualified digital forensic analysts — those who analyze electronic data to help solve crimes — as the field has grown rapidly over the past 20 years.
