Virginia sends three new representatives to Congress led by GOP

Rep. John McGuire, R-5th, succeeds Rep. Bob Good. Rep. Eugene Vindman, D-7th, succeeds Rep. Abigail Spanberger. Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, D-10th, succeeds Rep. Jennifer Wexton.

Virginia’s congressional delegation looks different, but so does the rest of Congress, as Republicans take control of both chambers and, in two weeks, the White House.

A screenshot from a John McGuire campaign email shows the state senator with former President Donald Trump. Trump endorsed McGuire, who defeated Rep. Bob Good for the 5th District GOP nomination.
