Virginia Fraternal Order of Police demands ‘unfit’ Jay Jones drop out of AG race immediately

WASHINGTON — The Virginia Fraternal Order of Police is demanding that embattled Democratic Attorney General hopeful Jay Jones exit the race “immediately” in light of the recently surfaced text messages showing him fantasizing about the former state speaker getting shot in the head.

Jones’ disturbing text messages in 2022 had surfaced late last week in a bombshell story, but the AG hopeful has remained in the race and local Democrats have stood by him.
