The daughter of former longtime New York Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney declared victory Tuesday in seizing the Democratic nomination for an Upper East Side City Council seat.
Princeton-educated Virginia Maloney, 37, who has worked for Meta, won the party’s primary race over former teacher Vanessa Aronson and four other prominent Manhattan Democrats, all but assuring her victory in the Dem-saturated city’s general election in November.
