ThreeHenricoCountystudentswerenamedwinnersinthe2025CongressionalArtCompetitionfortheFirstandFourthdistrictsinVirginia.
GlenAllenhomeschoolstudentVictoriaJiwonthecompetitionintheFirstDistrict,whileHenricoHighSchooleleventh-graderJourniMarlowwontheFourthDistrictcompetitionandHermitageHighSchool10thgraderOliviaPricetooksecondplace.U.S.RepresentativesRobWittman(R-FirstDistrict)andJenniferMcClellan(D-FourthDistrict)madetheannouncementsrecently.

“IwastrulyblownawaybytheartisticskilldisplayedbyVictoria,andIlookforwardtoseeingheroutstandingpaintingproudlyhungintheU.S.Capitol,”Wittmansaid.“IalsowanttothankeverystudentfromVirginia’sFirstDistrictwhosubmittedtheirartworkinthisyear’scompetition.”
